Cooperation

What is it about
Japanese drummers,
soccer players practicing in unison and
dancers filling a stage
that gives me goosebumps, makes my eyes water?
I think it's their
energy,
discipline,
motivation,
support for each other,
and most of all,
cooperation.

Effects of Abuse

We were taught to sit there.
We were expected to listen.
We were expected to take it.
And we did,
In order to avoid getting hurt more.
No way in words to really capture those feelings,
Other than, maybe, fear, exhaustion, confusion.
And now we live, worry, try, laugh, cry,
Hope.

Intuition

How in the world does one trust her intuition? Right now, I do not have any trust in mine. And that leads to a scary and lonely feeling.
