Ganesha

The Hindu elephant-headed god Ganesha is to whom I have been praying and meditating. He is my best friend and role model. His large ears and small mouth remind me that I should and want to listen more than talk, his large belly reminds me that I should and want to be content with whereever I am in life, and his friendly demeanor is also how I want to be perceived by others. It almost seems like an oxymoron, to be content yet strive for more, but the joy is in the journey and being content with the path you're on.
